Well.... not much really going on around the farm just same old stuff. Missie is doing great we finally got her sucking!
We are happy that all are puppy selling is going well and are exited to have them go to such great homes!
Oh well thats all for now plus it is late Bye Bye or Night Night ;D

Bad News with a little good.
Sorry haven't done much of my blog for a while.....
Today Dad came into me and woke me up telling me he got me a milking cow (I LOVE COWS!) but I had to catch it. Well the real reason was mum's cow died last night and she had a calf so I took in the calf. Anyways... now I have a little pen for her and gave her a name (Missie)
But Missie is only half milking cow her mum (Red) was a milking cow and her dad (Bruce) a beef cow.
Yes so now I have a little calf and a little puppy and two budgies that have been moved from their old cage to their new one!
Yesterday we went to Kadina and had a great day until we got home and found out someone left the cage to the chooks open and we had left the dogs out. So now we only have 1 duck 6 hens and one sick hen and our prize rooster! :C
Oh I am planning to take of pic of Missie soon!

Todays Happenings
Today I made some chocolate balls they are really easy all you need is cocoa, coconut, weetbix and condensed milk. Oh and yesterday I made a Dark Secret Cake it is really nice! I have had no time to take any pictures but I am planning to take some of the chooks and the puppies.
Today I will go with Daddy again sheep feeding. I love it because sometimes dad has to help a mother give birth and when I am older I want to be a midwife. Yes I know some people think I (as a farmer's daughter) should be a vet or a horse rider or something along those lines but i have always had a passion for babies.
At the moment on the farm dad is getting ready for seeding and this year we have leased extra land so dad is worried that harvest will go extra long this year. We have had about five years of drought until last year and we were behind all the other farmers they finished about the start of January this year and we finished late February. Oh well we will keep praying and the Lord will do as he pleases. :)

Today dad has started snail baiting because we had 27 points of rain over night and this makes the snails crawl. Dad and my big brother work on the snail baiting, dad drives and Sean (my big brother) puts the bags of bait into the spreader.
We are quite exited that we have had some rain for now we are heading into winter and we are all sick of summer with its unpleasant hot days, and who could forget the pesky flies.
In our family there are seven people there is Dad (Paul) Mum (Delvene) Sean (17) Elena (13) Myself (12) Lydon (10 soon to be 11) and Baden (8) we also have lots of pets. We have 2 dogs Elly (mother dog) Andy (father dog) then there is 5 pups 2 girls and 3 boys. One of the boys is my little puppy his name is Tiny because he is the runt.
Then we have the cats we have 5 first we have tomdee (Lydon's cat) then Larry (everyone's cat) then there is Roxy (Elena's cat) then cute Tedros (also meaning theodore) (Mum and Dad's cat) and last Bella (Sean's cat) she is only a kitten.
We also have a pet sheep his name is Parsnip (he is really old) and somehow he had a lamb not really well long story short a little girl lamb found our sheep and called it her daddy. Oh going off subject that little lamb I told you about died over the night... anyways
We also have 2 budgies one boy and one unknown. The boy is Joie or J bird (dad says) and the other one if a girl Rainbow if a boy Aussie.
We have a Bearded dragon (Lydon's pet lizard Spike)(a girl)
Then the turltes Murlte and Gurlte ( I have no idea how we are ment to tell them apart)
Then the Gunia Pigs we have Sparkle ( She is pregnant) then Ruby (also pregnant) then Rino ( the daddy) and last Ben (Sparkle's son)
Then we have chooks 7 sussex hens and 1 rooster. A trio of bantams and 2 female ducks.
But after all that we have about 20 cows and 3000 sheep or more but those are the farm animals.

A Busy Day
Today I cooked some Shortbread it turned out great! I also cooked some yummy choc chip cookies which are everyone's favourite and they never last long.The apron that I am wearing is made by my mum and I. The kerchief I am wearing was given to me by my great grandmother.

And the Choc-chip cookies.After my baking I decided to go sheep feeding with dad. (seeming it is lamb season)
When we got to the first paddock we looked around for any mothers unable to give birth. All was good and we went on to feeding them I drove the ute because this was the first time this year we have fed them. Anyway after we fed them we drove around again double checking. We came across a weak lamb that had no mother in sight and he looked weak. We found out he was a twin and the mother sometimes picks a lamb to take with her and the other is left to die. In the end we took him home and gave him his first feed.l Now he is a strong sucker and is doing great! But sometimes they can go bad again. We are all praying that this one makes it.
